We’re the UK’s First Online Training Provider to Receive Skills for Health Quality Mark Digital
We’re so pleased to be the first in the UK to be awarded a Skills for Health Quality Mark Digital accreditation.
This standard recognises course programmes of the highest possible standard in the healthcare industry.
Here’s a message from our CEO, Dan Jordan, about the exciting news:
We work tirelessly to ensure our online training is appropriate, accurate and meaningful to a variety of sectors and careers. Being awarded the Skills for Health Quality Mark Digital is an achievement we’re very proud of as the quality mark demonstrates that we are a trusted training provider for healthcare employers and staff.
What is Skills for Health?
Skills for Health is the UK’s Sector Skills Council for Healthcare supporting workforce development, recruitment, and retention initiatives to improve the competencies that provide better patient outcomes.
The industry-recognised endorsement provides reassurance that training has been robustly assessed, to meet nationally recognised expectations of the UK health sector.
Responsibilities of Skills for Health include leading research into healthcare workforce issues, informing national policy, maintaining the Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) and championing the entire UK healthcare workforce.
Following the Cavendish Review, Skills for Health worked with Health Education England (HEE) and Skills for Care to jointly develop the Care Certificate which assesses the fundamental skills, knowledge and behaviours. These are the core elements required to provide safe, effective and compassionate care.
What is the Skills for Health Quality Mark Digital?
In healthcare, it is important that training processes meet rigorous quality assurance assessment and that staff have the knowledge required to do their jobs to the highest possible standard. The Skills for Health Quality Mark Digital provides reassurance that training has been robustly assessed to meet nationally recognised expectations of the UK health sector.
High Speed Training was the first e-learning provider to earn the QMD endorsement due to their high quality courses, collaborative ethos, and demonstrating that colleagues work alongside the company vision and values, in all that they do. The Quality Mark is a highly regarded Quality Assurance award for face to face training provision. The Quality Mark Digital was developed to offer e-learning providers the same access to a robust QA methodology, to suit their delivery.
