In a recent presentation for the Food Safety Briefing, Barbara highlighted the issue of communication as a barrier to managing allergens effectively.\u00a0 Barbara advises that businesses should pay serious attention to the way in which they communicate the presence of allergens <strong>both to their staff and to their consumers<\/strong>. Implementing regular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highspeedtraining.co.uk\/courses\/food-hygiene\/food-allergen-awareness-training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">awareness training<\/a> and dedicating attention to product <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highspeedtraining.co.uk\/hub\/free-food-allergen-printable-labels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">packaging and labelling<\/a> should be areas of priority.<\/p>\n<p>It is imperative that staff can fully recognise all <strong>14 named allergens<\/strong>.
