Take a look at our useful guide to find out more:<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>PAT Labels<\/h2>\n<p>The following labels can be found on appliances that have undergone \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.highspeedtraining.co.uk\/hub\/pat-test-equipment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Portable Appliance Testing<\/a> (PAT). They advise whether an appliance is safe or unsafe to use, and may be circular or rectangular. The green \u2018passed\u2019 PAT label features the test date and sometimes the name of the person who carried out the test, as well as the date of the next\u00a0test.\u00a0Any equipment with a red \u2018failed\u2019 PAT label should be removed from use immediately.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highspeedtraining.co.uk\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/PAT-labels.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9865 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.highspeedtraining.co.uk\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/PAT-labels.jpg\" alt=\"pat-labels\" width=\"685\" height=\"153\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You may also see other labels, similar to the red and green PAT labels, which identify whether equipment, appliances and instruments have been checked and are safe to use:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highspeedtraining.co.uk\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/PAT-labels-alternate.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9867 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.highspeedtraining.co.uk\/hub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/PAT-labels-alternate.jpg\" alt=\"pat-labels-alternate\" width=\"685\" height=\"153\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Electrical Hazard Warning Signs<\/h2>\n<p>These electrical safety symbols can be found around workplaces \u2013 particularly construction sites, factories and farms where the use of high-voltage electrical equipment or cables is common \u2013 as well as in any building or location where electricity may pose a danger. The text and colour of the signs may vary, but the pictograms are universal. They are used to warn you of the potential electrical hazards in the area and must not be ignored.
