Customer Service Administrator

Support team based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire | Salary up to £19k dependent on skills / experience

As we continue to grow, we need an approachable Customer Service Administrator to work in our Learner Support Team.

What will you be doing?

If successful, you’ll work alongside a customer-focused team supporting our lovely learners on the phone and through email.

We don’t want to brag (too much), but our customers do love us, and that’s because our service is genuine and responsive. Our Support Consultants are encouraged to use their initiative and judgement to help customers and to build relationships with our clients.

A day in the role might involve:

  • Speaking to our learners via email and phone
  • Noticing a sales opportunity and acting on it
  • Setting up orders for new and existing customers
  • Working collaboratively with others in your team and in other departments to find information and give great answers
  • Creating reports and documents through Microsoft Office
  • Logging customer information so you can follow-up queries

Like how that sounds?

It’d be great if you had customer service experience, but we’re not necessarily looking for that, just the right person for the role. If this sounds like you, we want you to apply!

  • A genuine interest in working with and supporting customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An organised and methodical approach
  • Motivation and drive to excel
  • The ability to work collaboratively and individually
  • A polite, patient, tactful and friendly attitude
  • A pleasant phone manner and relationship building skills
  • A quick-thinking, lively and positive outlook
  • Competence in using computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • The initiative to problem-solve and adapt to situations
  • Accuracy when inputting data
  • Commitment to your continuous development
