We are looking for a PR Manager to join the team to manage and coordinate all public relations activities for High Speed Training.

To do this, we create online training courses that help customers across a wide-range of subjects and sectors. Having trained over a million people, we’re always looking to create new ways of engaging with our learners, and we’re looking forward to training the next million.

Your role in the team

We're now looking for a PR Manager to join our growing team, taking responsibility for all public relations activities for High Speed Training. You'll contribute to strategic planning, message development to gain relevant coverage and increase brand awareness in trade, regional and national publications.

Developing a media relations strategy, you'll seek high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media through building strong relationships with key journalists and relevant external stakeholders in target sectors.

You'll also take the lead on content marketing projects to ensure organic SEO objectives are met, complimenting our search presence, link equity and domain authority.

Internally you'll work closely with key stakeholders on different areas of PR including, corporate, brand building, product launches, thought leadership, individual profile building and CSR.

What we're looking for

  • Strong previous PR experience in a similar or related industry with a proven success in using PR to increase brand awareness through both digital and traditional approaches
  • Ideally you'll hold a degree or professional qualification in PR or a related field
  • Experience of working with internal stakeholders and external agencies, building strong relationships through your excellent communication skills
  • Self motivated with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet objectives
  • Results focused and excellent analytical skills, using data to push strategic decisions
  • Exemplary written communication skills with a strong attention to detail

Our head office is in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. In response to Covid-19 we are currently operating as a fully remote business. High Speed Training in Ilkley

The picturesque town of Ilkley is situated in the Wharfe Valley, at the southern end of the Yorkshire Dales. The town is famous for its moor and you'll find fantastic countryside and walks for all abilities on our doorstep. The town is also home to one of the largest cycling clubs in the country.

At around a 25 minute commute from Leeds city central (by rail) and easily accessible by road, our main office is in a great location to enjoy all this.
