Main purpose of role

  • Support the digital marketing team across Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), paid search, social media and campaign delivery
  • Assist with the delivery of content, social media and search strategies
  • Coordinate the High Speed Training social media presence, grow relevant followers and build engagement
  • Add capacity to the marketing team and develop skills across a range of digital areas

Key tasks

  • Supporting the digital marketing team across a variety of projects including content, social, outreach and search
  • Plan and populate the social media calendar, coordinate and distribute relevant posts
  • Ensure relevant, engaging and timely content is distributed across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and explore other social channels inline with campaign plans
  • Sourcing relevant images and photography for content and social media posts
  • Monitor owned social media channels for replies and interaction
  • Monitor the wider web for brand mentions
  • Proof-read content articles, check against SEO objectives, source associated imagery and design, post articles on WordPress

  • Monitor content for search engine results and further optimise where necessary
  • Contribute to the daily management of content, social channels and related engagement/organic traffic
  • Assist with outreach projects for organic search, demonstrating a high standard of written communication
  • Supporting the marketing team with a variety of projects including analysis, research, managing organic social media and supporting the content marketing strategy
  • Copywriting for social media, organic and paid media
  • Collecting and collating data as required
  • Monitoring marketing metrics and budgets
  • Attend weekly marketing meetings and contribute to discussions, getting fully involved in the team

  • Agreed metrics may include - but are not limited to - web sessions, social media follower growth, social engagement.
  • Unit KPIs related to this role are: agreed SEO metrics, social engagement, brand mentions and website visits.
