The purpose of the role is to retain existing customers and attract new customers through well planned and executed outbound marketing campaigns. Using marketing automation software to create customer journeys that reflect the interests of the customer segments and their stage in the buying cycle.
As a key member of the marketing team the MCM will work with content, creative, sales and marketing team members to create targeted messages, engaging content and campaign workflows to meet acquisition and retention objectives.
Proven ability in managing outbound marketing campaigns through marketing automation and CRM solutions. Ability to segment customers, create campaign themes, brief and write content, manage campaign assets, execute and track campaigns
Excellent writing skills are a pre-requisite as you will frequently have to write copy for marketing promotions. Clear verbal communication is required to manage relationships with colleagues, other departments, agencies and third parties as well as persuade a non-marketing audience, such as senior level managers within the organisation
Ability to meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns. You will need to manage the output and results effectively and intervene if things are going off-track.
You will need to build and acquire data and use it to target selected groups, as well as analyse the success or otherwise of campaigns.
