Key Responsibilities

  • Devise B2C (business to consumer) or B2B (business to business) integrated marketing campaigns with the aim of acquiring and retaining customers
  • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns
  • Create content and campaign workflows to reflect the interests of the customer segments and their stage in the buying cycle
  • Be the internal champion and super-user of the marketing automation software
  • Managing the software to optimise campaigns: email, landing pages, forms, lead scoring
  • Collaborate with other departments such as designers, animators and content writers, to create campaign assets
  • Write, edit and proofread copy for promotional materials within marketing campaigns
  • Ensure that the HST brand and identity and values are adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels
  • Deliver regular reports of campaign results, including revenue analysis and evaluation of KPIs
  • Maintain regular measurement of the ROI of campaigns
  • Ensure accuracy of marketing materials and ensure formal sign off where necessary
  • Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns
  • Take responsibility for the organisation of any trade shows and exhibitions

Required Skills

Campaign management skills

Proven ability in managing outbound marketing campaigns through marketing automation and CRM solutions. Ability to segment customers, create campaign themes, brief and write content, manage campaign assets, execute and track campaigns

Communication skills

Excellent writing skills are a pre-requisite as you will frequently have to write copy for marketing promotions. Clear verbal communication is required to manage relationships with colleagues, other departments, agencies and third parties as well as persuade a non-marketing audience, such as senior level managers within the organisation

Project management skills

Ability to meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure ROI on marketing campaigns. You will need to manage the output and results effectively and intervene if things are going off-track.

Numerical skills

You will need to build and acquire data and use it to target selected groups, as well as analyse the success or otherwise of campaigns.

Other Skills

  • Previous email marketing and/or campaign management experience in a lead generation environment
  • Experience of using marketing automation platforms such as Force 24, Kulea, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot or similar to create workflows and canvas customers
  • Experience of data segmentation
  • Understanding and experience of data protection and GDPR obligations

Desirable Skills

  • Collaborative team player able to inspire others
  • Ability to reflect HST values through work produced and general approach
  • Relevant experience in digital marketing or supporting digital projects
  • A marketing-based degree is a bonus but not essential.
