Your role in the team

The Product Executive is responsible for conducting research and gathering insight to assist with the prioritisation of content production. The goal is to use customer and market research, competitor analysis and sector insight to ensure content is effectively prioritised in line with strategic goals.

Main purposes of role:

  • Advise on prioritisation of content production workload based on research and industry insight
  • Undertake collection, analysis and communication of customer and market insight data
  • Run market research projects and facilitate delivery of key findings to stakeholders
  • Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights to stakeholders
  • Research and develop relationships with commercial partners, accrediting bodies and industry leaders in our core markets
  • Analyse commercial performance of existing product catalogue
  • Assist with internal and external communications for product launches
  • Support the digital marketing team across a wide variety of projects, including SEO, PR and Email, providing analysis and insight where required

Key Tasks:

  • Conduct commercial analysis of core sectors through market and customer research
  • Gather information on competitors, and conduct analysis on their products, prices and methods of distribution and marketing
  • Utilise findings from research and develop into proposals to be assessed and prioritised as part of Content Production process
  • Advise on prioritisation of content production based on agreed KPIs
  • Collect and analyse data about customer preferences, demographics, buying habits and needs, to better identify market potential and factors influencing course demand
  • Suggest ways to act on data and findings through new courses, course updates, content and campaigns to generate relevant website traffic
  • Assist with internal and external communication for product launches
  • Conduct market analysis to analyse commercial performance of current course catalogue
  • Support SEO, PPC, PR and Marketing Automation efforts with market and product insight

What we're looking for

  • Ideally you’ll hold a degree in marketing or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience of market research techniques and practices
  • Experience with various survey tools
  • Ability to multitask well
  • Strong background in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint preferred

Our head office is in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. In response to Covid-19 we are currently operating as a fully remote business. High Speed Training in Ilkley

The picturesque town of Ilkley is situated in the Wharfe Valley, at the southern end of the Yorkshire Dales. The town is famous for its moor and you'll find fantastic countryside and walks for all abilities on our doorstep. The town is also home to one of the largest cycling clubs in the country.

At around a 25 minute commute from Leeds city central (by rail) and easily accessible by road, our main office is in a great location to enjoy all this.
