We are a continually growing online training company offering courses in a wide range of areas. Having an already established team in our office in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, we are looking to add to our team.

At High Speed Training, we provide highly regarded online training courses in a range of subjects from food safety to leadership and management. Our website currently hosts 154 courses, and this figure is continuously increasing. We’re passionate about making sure our customers receive exceptional service and with over 700,000 certified learners, we’re proud of the courses we offer.

What we’re looking for:

We are currently looking for a strong UX designer who can evaluate our current practices and help us build the next generation of products and services. You will be working alongside both our technical, creative and marketing teams, making UX choices based on insight and research, ensuring our existing user experience strategy is continually improved and built upon. A natural communicator; someone who can relay ideas and concepts clearly and concisely, whilst mentoring and training our existing team, developing our current skill set and bolstering the team further.

Core skills required for the role:

  • A portfolio which demonstrates their experience / expertise in this space.
  • Strong skills with prototyping / wireframing tools (InVision, Sketch, Balsamiq etc)
  • A creative problem-solver
  • Superior knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A hunger to develop innovative ideas and create beautiful, intelligent pieces of design.
  • Outstanding communication: able to be concise with your opinions and ability to make informed decisions backed by data.

Things that would be a plus (but absolutely not essential):

  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
  • A background in or familiarity with cognitive psychology
  • Experience of analysing user journeys and evaluating the ROI of a project, as well as experience in briefing others on projects.
