Your role in the team

Our Product Owner will work across our tech team to support the delivery and prioritisation process, working with small squads aligned to business objectives and cross functional teams. Your role will be to assist with understanding the goal of the squad and facilitating collaboration with stakeholders to encourage direct communication, establishing what technical work could be delivered to drive the outcomes.

You will help build out the backlogs and prioritise the delivery of work using an agile approach. As new objectives or ideas are set, you will help to drive discovery and collaboration to create an understanding between the teams of what can be achieved and how we might do it. This will involve ensuring clear communication is made to the wider teams to understand what the focus is and what work falls within that.

Working within a self organising department it is key to work alongside project managers, objective owners and program leads from all areas of the company to ensure we deliver an understanding of what choices they have technically to help drive business outcomes and balance priorities.

Each objective might touch several parts of the system requiring multiple technical skills to deliver, so gaining a deep understanding of our platform and collaborating with user research and ux/ui design is key for us to create a cohesive product end to end for our customers with a focus on their experience.

What we're looking for

Our head office is in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. In response to Covid-19 we are currently operating as a fully remote business. High Speed Training in Ilkley

The picturesque town of Ilkley is situated in the Wharfe Valley, at the southern end of the Yorkshire Dales. The town is famous for its moor and you'll find fantastic countryside and walks for all abilities on our doorstep. The town is also home to one of the largest cycling clubs in the country.

At around a 25 minute commute from Leeds city central (by rail) and easily accessible by road, our main office is in a great location to enjoy all this.
