| 4 | Spotting the Signs | Spotting the signs in a young child, child or teenager, co- occurring difficulties, such as ADHD, Developmental Language Disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorder and Dyscalculia, hearing and vision problems and visual stress. |
| 5 | Action to Take | What to do if you suspect a child has dyslexia, using the ‘Three Waves of Intervention” and the “Graduated Approach” to support children who may have or do have dyslexia, screening tests, diagnostic assessments and information on becoming a dyslexia friendly school. |

Aims of the Course
By taking this course, you will learn:

- How to support a child who has, or is showing signs of dyslexia.

- How to find the best interventions, resources, games and activities to help children.
Assessment
Once you have completed all of the online training material for the course, you will be able to take the online assessment.
The assessment consists of 20 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 80%.
The answers are marked instantly so you will know whether you have passed as soon as you finish. If you don’t pass the assessment you can review the course material and take the assessment again as many times as necessary at no extra charge.
