Aims of the Health & Safety Training
'Managing Safety' aims to give managers the essential information they need to manage
health and safety in their area of responsibility and control. At the end of the
course they will be able to:

- Undertake monitoring and checking to ensure that workplace precautions are in place
and work activities are being undertaken safely
Content
The 'Managing Safety' course helps managers and supervisors meet the demands of
modern health and safety requirements by following the Health and Safety Executive's
Guidance note 'Successful Health and Safety Management' (HSG65).
The Course contains the following sections:

Assessment
The online assessment is taken on completion of the training material. You will
be asked 15 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 75%. The answers are marked
automatically so that you’ll instantly know whether you passed. If you don't pass

Duration
Approximately 45 minutes to complete the course in full. This can be spread out
over multiple sessions or completed in a single session. There is no time limit
