  • Understand the law surrounding sexual harassment as part of the Equality Act 2010 and the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023, and be able to identify unlawful and unwanted behaviours.
  • Know that inappropriate behaviour and comments occur in both the workplace and online, and understand what your manager or supervisor should be doing to make sure there is a positive culture in your workplace.
  • Understand what you should do if you experience or witness sexual harassment in the workplace and understand how your manager or supervisor should support you and handle such a complaint.

Module 1: What is Sexual Harassment?

Sexual harassment in the workplace, sexual harassment myths, when does sexual harassment happen and who perpetrates it, the impact of sexual harassment and the law.

Module 2: Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

Definitions of sexual harassment, who is vulnerable to sexual harassment, characteristics of perpetrators, identifying sexual harassment, danger zone behaviours, risk factors and positive workplace culture.

Module 3: Policies and Procedures

Sexual harassment policy, making a complaint or raising a grievance, your responsibilities and further advice and support.

The online assessment is taken on completion of the training material. You will be asked 10 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 80%. The answers are marked automatically so you will instantly know whether you have passed. If you don't pass don't worry! You can take the test as many times as you need with no extra charge.

Sexual harassment can happen in any industry and at any level of employment, so this course is suitable for employees in all types of workplaces, whether in an office, retail space or worksite.

Is this course up to do date with The Worker Protection Act 2023 changes?

Yes. This course was last audited in June 2025 and covers all changes to The Worker Protection Act that came into force 26th October 2024.


How often should this training be renewed?

While legislation doesn't specify an exact timeframe, completing harassment training and refreshing that training regularly helps ensure everyone stays informed and compliant. Ultimately, each business should assess its own needs and may choose to renew more or less frequently based on its unique circumstances. The recommended renewal period for this training reflects best practice and guidance around maintaining "all reasonable steps" to prevent harassment.


How do I access the training?

All of our training is done within your web browser - there are no apps to download or software to install.

No, we want our courses to work around you so there’s no time limit in which you must complete the training after making a purchase.
