Your role in the team

We are looking for a Finance Director to join our Board as a statutory director, providing the financial leadership and operational oversight needed to steer our business forward.

Reporting to the CEO, you'll own the financial health of the business - shaping plans, driving commercial decisions and ensuring we grow in a way that's sustainable and true to our values as an employee-owned business.

You will play an active role in communicating our financial performance across the entire organisation, translating complex data into an accessible, meaningful narrative for everyone.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Lead all financial operations, including reporting, cash flow management and financial controls
  • Own budgeting and forecasting, building methodologies that give the board reliable forward visibility
  • Translate company strategy into financial plans and targets, monitoring performance against them
  • Work closely with the Operating Board to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
  • Play an active role in communicating financial performance across the organisation - making complex data accessible and meaningful to everyone

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience at Finance Director level. You’ll have a commercial mindset, able to connect financial thinking to wider business strategy without losing sight of the detail. You’ll excel at building strong relationships at all levels - and you're as comfortable presenting to a board as you are rolling up your sleeves.

You'll also bring:

  • Experience building and owning forecasting methodology in a commercial setting
  • A strong track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences
  • Experience within a scaling business where the finance function is still maturing

Experience as a statutory director, exposure to risk and compliance functions, or experience working with AI tools in a technology environment would be a distinct advantage.

Our people are at the heart of our business and create a welcoming work environment where we collaborate, have fun and celebrate our success together. We are proud to have achieved a 3 star rating showcasing our 'world class' levels of engagement, the highest accolade from Best Companies.

We also offer free life insurance (which covers 4-times your salary), optional private medical insurance for you and your family, a general health cash plan, dental cash plan and discounted gym membership.
