Module 1: The Basics of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

Accessing Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, the Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets interfaces, cells, columns and rows, worksheet tabs, ribbon tabs in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, ribbon and formula bars, data formatting and basic number formats.

Module 2: Introducing Formulas, Functions and Features

Formulas and basic calculations, an introduction to functions, fill handle, relative, mixed and absolute references, sort and filter, conditional formatting, and charts and graphs.

Module 3: Popular Functions

AVERAGE, SUM, SUMIF, SUMIFS, COUNTIF, COUNTIFS, IF, IFS, VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

The online assessment is taken on completion of the training material. You will be asked 10 multiple-choice questions with a pass mark of 80%. The answers are marked automatically so you will instantly know whether you have passed. If you don't pass, don't worry! You can take the test as many times as you need with no extra charge.
