Please introduce yourself and your organisation.
Emma Goldsby, Office Manager at BSH Remediation. BSH Remediation is a bulk earthworks based company in the construction industry working on live sites. My role includes arranging all health and safety training for our company.

Why did you choose our e-learning courses?
They are simple and easy to purchase. The range of courses offered is outstanding and reasonably priced. The management suite is great as I can view everything in one place and keep track of everyone’s training requirements as well as view their certificates and check if they have completed their training.

What specific need or problem were you trying to address by taking our training?
I wanted to find a one stop training provider for all our requirements and that covered a range of health and safety certifications across the board. A lot of my team work on live sites so it needed to be simple to use, not time consuming and offer them the opportunity to learn at times that fitted in with their day to day job.

How did our training stand out from other options you considered?
The prices were very reasonable and I liked that there are bulk discounts available. It was important that I could manage everyone in one place and view the information I needed quickly.

How was the learning process for you and your staff?
Brilliant! The feedback from my team was all positive. The logins were easy to set up and they could access the learning quickly and efficiently. There have been no technical glitches which is great as the team is busy and this means they could log in, get their training done without any issues which has been super efficient.

How straightforward was it to get started?
I was able to set up my management suite quickly and then adding my staff members was quick and straightforward after that. I was soon set up and able to view them all individually so that I could check their details before selecting the training that each one needed individually.

How did you find distributing the training and tracking the progress of your staff?
This is the area where I needed the process to be as simple and easy as possible. My team’s time is very compromised so there couldn’t be any time wasting if this process wasn’t easy for them. From selecting the training they needed, to adding them to that training was great, I got an instant alert once they had completed their training as well so it was kept updated throughout.

What issues did you face whilst using our training and/or systems and how were they
resolved?
I had a little problem logging one member of staff on for their training but I used the online chat to sort it out and it was fab. My query was responded to really quickly and I was walked through the process to sort it out.

What specific outcomes have you achieved as a result of using our training?
All of our employees now have up to date health and safety training. I have a one stop place that I can now go to which makes co-ordinating the whole team so much more efficient. There have also been other courses that we have been able to offer to our team from the wide range of courses on offer.

How to Build Relationships in Construction

Can you give an example of any awards, metrics or data to support your results?
We go through CHAS and SMAS accreditations and ISO every year. Knowing that we have an up to date training matrix supported by High Speed Training and helped us gain these quickly and efficiently.

What feedback have you received from your employees or other stakeholders?
All of our employees have been really happy with the training provided by High Speed Training. They have all reported that the systems are easy to use and simple to follow. Previous platforms have glitched or not offered a complete set of options for us so to move to this platform has been satisfying and pain free.

How effective and engaging have they found the training?
The training that we have booked form High Speed Training is general requirements for live sites. They have been effective because the process itself has been uncomplicated.

Are there any specific features or aspects of the training that they particularly liked?
The general ease of the system has been received very well by our employees. They were a little reserved in moving to a new platform but the change to High Speed Training was swift and easy with no problems at all.

I would 100% recommend High Speed Training to anyone seeking an online platform and one stop shop for all their training requirements. The range of courses offered is wide and varied and we have been able to introduce some new forms of training to our team.
