High Speed Training is a team of over 50 people who are striving to fulfil our mission: Deliver training that helps people to be engaged, effective and safe in the career they’ve chosen.

To do this, we create online training courses that help customers across a wide-range of subjects and sectors. Having trained over a million people, we’re always looking to create new ways of engaging with our learners, and we’re looking forward to training the next million.

Your role in the team

The Office Administrator role is a varied one, with the purpose of providing excellent administrative support to a number of areas of the business. Working as part of a small team, the role requires someone who is comfortable getting involved in a number of different tasks and focussed on delivering a very high standard of customer service.

Main purposes of role:

  • Ensure daily learner certificate checks are completed accurately and time.
  • Provide accounts customer service by both phone and email.
  • Credit control - including calling customers, and preparing and emailing statements and payment reminders.
  • Completion of customer information request forms.
  • General office administration, including health and safety checks and liaison with external facilities suppliers.
  • The team also looks after HR administration, and there may be the opportunity to support this work in future.

You will be responsible for:

Learner certificate delivery:

  • Processing batches of certificates to be issued to our learners, checking names and addresses.
  • Liaison with our external printers in relation to certificate delivery.

Accounts customer service:

  • Answering accounts phone calls and helping customers with their queries.
  • Responding to accounts related emails, investigating queries as necessary.
  • Preparing statements for customers.
  • Making phone calls to chase payment of overdue invoices.
  • Sending payment reminder emails to customers.

General administration:

  • Completion of customer information requests.
  • Liaison with external facilities suppliers such as cleaners and milk.
  • Office Health & Safety checks, meter readings etc.

High Speed Training in Ilkley

The picturesque town of Ilkley is situated in the Wharfe Valley, at the southern end of the Yorkshire Dales. The town is famous for its moor and you'll find fantastic countryside and walks for all abilities on our doorstep. The town is also home to one of the largest cycling clubs in the country.

At around a 25 minute commute from Leeds city central (by rail) and easily accessible by road, our main office is in a great location to enjoy all this.
