Your role in the team

Newly created role working alongside the Employee Engagement and Wellbeing Manager and reporting to the Head of HR this position is responsible for sourcing and attracting candidates with the right skills and culture fit to drive our organisational objectives.

The role holder will work in partnership with the HR administration team to provide recruitment expertise, knowledge and guidance to hiring managers. Responsibilities will include sourcing and attraction strategy, building our employee brand proposition and the design and development of selection and assessment methodologies that complement our culture and values. As a digital first business refining our onboarding process to deliver a first class experience is also a requirement of the role.

This is a really varied role, including providing HR generalist support to the Technology Team and is perfectly suited to candidates who are hands on and want to put their immediate stamp on how we recruit into the business and develop the best talent.

As our Talent Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing the best recruitment methodologies to attract, source and retain high quality candidates for our business
  • Using your experience to act as the resourcing SME providing guidance and insight to line managers, HR administration and other stakeholders on delivering a great approach
  • Working directly with internal stakeholders to focus on delivering an excellent Candidate and Hiring Manager experience throughout the end to end Attraction, Recruitment and Onboarding journey
  • Identifying and partnering with recruitment agencies where necessary
  • Delivery and implementation of recruitment events and employability programmes that will attract a diverse candidate profile and support succession planning
  • Proactively partnering with the HR team and other internal stakeholders to understand immediate and future resourcing requirements at all levels to fulfil the Organisational and People Plan objectives.
  • Working directly with the Hiring Managers and support teams to improve hiring capability across the Organisation.
  • Fulfil the role of HRBP for the Technology and Design function in the business, identifying functional and colleague development opportunities and working alongside the HR team to deliver these.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrable experience in proactively managing the end to end Recruitment cycle across a variety of diverse roles
  • Experience of using various social media and sourcing channels to broaden reach
  • Create the best candidate experience through excellent processes ensuring an inclusive approach
  • Have a good understanding of the market and competitor activity.Our ideal candidate will have a background in recruiting for IT roles and knows this candidate market well.
  • MCIPD or demonstrable equivalent level of knowledge already gained through experience.
  • A hands on ‘can do’ approach and a passion for delivering great internal and external customer service

High Speed Training in Ilkley

The picturesque town of Ilkley is situated in the Wharfe Valley, at the southern end of the Yorkshire Dales. The town is famous for its moor and you'll find fantastic countryside and walks for all abilities on our doorstep. The town is also home to one of the largest cycling clubs in the country.

At around a 25 minute commute from Leeds city central (by rail) and easily accessible by road, our main office is in a great location to enjoy all this.
