This course teaches those working in education settings how to support children and young people with dyslexia. It explores the main definition of dyslexia and the concept of neurodiversity, as well as common co-occurring difficulties. The online assessment is taken on completion of the training material. You will be asked 20 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 80%. The answers are marked automatically, so you will instantly know whether or not you have passed. If you don't pass, please don't worry. You can take the test as many times as you need – at no extra charge.
This Dyslexia Awareness training course has been designed for anyone who supports children and young people who have - or may have - dyslexia. The scenarios presented in the course are appropriate for teachers, teaching assistants, support staff, childminders, volunteers, tutors, and care workers.
