Our Autism Awareness in Education course is designed for anyone who works in educational settings and may interact with autistic children, such as teachers, learning assistants, nursery workers, and activity leaders. It’s suitable for your role whether you work full-time, part-time, or on a voluntary basis.

||Understanding the child, behaviour, obsessions, interactions, communication, anxiety, change, and finalising the profile.
||Your Relationship with an Autistic Child
||Your job role, existing knowledge, skills, characteristics, and antifragile.
||Designing Learning for an Autistic Child
||What does designing learning mean, designing the environment, senses, locations, routines and transitions, relationships and friendships, teaching and learning, target setting and progress, learning preferences, multiple intelligences, tests and exams, and behaviour and rules.

Once you have completed the training, you will then take an online assessment to test your knowledge. This assessment will ask you 20 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 90%. The answers are marked automatically, so you’ll know instantly whether you have passed. If you don’t pass first time, don’t worry! You can take the test as many times as you need with no extra charge.
