To help you meet your statutory duty to ensure all staff understand KCSIE, our pack includes a ready-to-use quiz for your team. The responses provide clear evidence of staff compliance, help you assess current safeguarding knowledge, and highlight any areas for further training.

In this section, you will get a refresher on the four main types of abuse and signs to look out for. Guided by an engaging animation and case study, this module is designed to spark discussion, encourage reflection, and build professional curiosity.

You’ll cover a variety of specific safeguarding issues including: mental health, online safety, child-on-child abuse, domestic abuse and supporting pupils who are questioning their gender. Using interactive group activities and scenario-based discussions, your team will build knowledge and awareness.

We introduce the 4Rs of safeguarding as a simple framework to ensure important safeguarding steps are not missed when concerns arise.  This section includes practical do's and don'ts for handling disclosures, alongside a clear safeguarding flowchart to guide your team through the procedure for responding to concerns.

This section begins with video content exploring what a safeguarding culture is and why it is so important. You’ll then unpack how to embed key themes like professional curiosity and centering the pupil voice within your everyday practice.

Wrap up the session with space for reflection and discussion, focusing on staff wellbeing and clear next steps for CPD. This section also includes a staff self-audit to help your team confidently evaluate their own safeguarding practice.
